LEVEL 11 - CRADLE OF THE NORTH
Guide Stones:

  • Totem Wisdom: Dolphin lives in a water
  • Totem Wisdom: Lizards lives among rocks.
  • Totem Wisdom: Monkey is smart, try hard to find it.
  • Totem Wisdom: Bigger water creatures require more water.
  • Totem Wisdom: Ice will not scare polar bear.

    Objectives and Strategies:
    1. Find the World Seal
    2. Build your camp with all upgrades.
    3. Collect 50 ice crystals (using your computer magnifier is VERY beneficial) while exploring for 2 different idols.
    4. Head west to meet up with the Hermit Montol.
    5. Fight the sharks in the west with archers and arrow tower per Montol's request. You will receive a Shaman Mask when completed.
    6. Return to camp and build Shaman tents (Shamans will help you break the ice blocks.) Love their headdress!
    7. Explore the island picking up ice crystals.
    8. Give idol 25 ice crystals to one idol in the northeast and 25 crystals to one idol in the southwest and activate the idols.

    9. Put Totems on Correct Pedestals (THERE ARE SOME FAKE PEDISTALS, PUTTING THE WRONG TOTEM ON A PEDESTAL WILL CATASTROPHIC COSTS):
    a. Dolphin -on island where you remedied the shark infestation. If you didn't build a tower to aid with the sharks, you'll need to do so in order to see the pedestal.

    b. Monkey - Build a tower due north in the middle of the island close the fallen palm trees (hint) to access a pedestal.

    c. Polar Bear - middle pedestal on the bottom

    d. Lizard - middle east pedestal around rocks

    e. Seagull - northwest pedestal where seagulls are flying

    f. Whale - build a tower on the far southeast of the island, exposing another island in the deep waters.

    10. Place a flag where whale pedestal and totem are (yes they can swim now or walk on water at least temporarily). Then have scouts walk/swim south to another isle to receive pendant of power.

    11. Build a hut on the isolated land surrounded by mountains. I know your tribe can't reach it, but thanks to the upgrades it will build itself. You will then have a tribe member in that area to open the chest.
    12. Activate the World Seal by surrounding the large middle pedestal (World Seal) where all the lights from the outlying pedestals meet with Fire Towers. Better to overdo than to not have enough. Verify you village is upgraded and thoroughly protected and idols are charged. GET READY FOR BATTLE; 3 Shades that multiply will be attacking. Put exploration flag in the middle of your camp. Send the troop and wait until they're at the World Seal.
    13. Select the World Seal to begin. Oh you might want to pray!

    14. RETURN AFTER YOUR SCOUTS CAN SWIM TO OBTAIN GEMS.

    LEVEL 12 - MIST ISLAND:
    Guide Stones:
  • The island is covered in clouds/fog. Light of the ancient powers will guide you through the mist (find 5 spheres of light).
  • Sometimes you can find something even if you can't see it at all!
  • Turn all four lights on and light will be granted to you.

    Objectives and Strategies:
    1. Find and read all obelisks (tall stones with yellow highlight on them) through dense fog.
  • Obelisks:
  • Totems grant immense power to their wielders.
  • The cradle of the north has the world seal that protects this world
  • Twelve totems exist in harmony - six totems are light and represent creation an life, the other six are dark and represent destruction and death
  • Place Twelve Totems around the world seal to protect this world.
  • Place six totems around the World Seal to break the harmony and destroy the Seal.
    2. You can only control Aruku on this level. Head southwest of the strange device and pick up a sphere of light. Follow the red arrow path on screen shot for a general idea of where to lead Aruku throughout the level along with the following tips:

    3. Put the sphere of light into the device and then select the device. Some of the fog will dissipate.
    4. Start to explore a little east and then a little north then a little west and then a little south (you get the picture) etc. Expose your island from the black veil that's on each level to find more spheres of light and obelisks. Aruku will not walk into the dense fog. I did this in baby steps. I'd love to give you screenshots of the locations, but they're random. The strange devices will be yellow on your guide map. Good Luck and may patience be with you!
    5. Solve a light puzzle for one of the spheres. All 4 gold spheres need to be lit to receive the sphere.
    6. After you have found the spheres travel west to visit a Hermit. He will ask for "something in the water". It's extremely difficult to see the black pearl that is the "something in the water". Find the pearl and give it to the Hermit.

    7. Part of the black veil should be lifted. There is an obelisk slightly northwest of the Hermit.
    8. Find the bolt of lightening northwest of the Hermit a sphere move Aruku towards the lightening to locate another sphere.

    9. Another sphere should be south of the Hermit along with the Amulet of Wisdom.

    10. Keep trekking on the open paths to find the hidden obelisk, sphere and mysterious device.

    11. Find the Rune of Lightning on the west side of the island on a grey path between fourth and fifth mysterious device.

    12. Put the lightening bolt on the gate middle north of the island.

    13. Pass through the gate of lightening to pick up a thunderbolt.

    14. Back track on the level path to find 3 additional thunderbolts; the lightening bolts do not appear until you have reached the camp. So...yes, you have to backtrack.

    15. Give the 4 thunderbolts to the Wiseman. You will acquire a new building; Sky Hall plus upgrades to buildings. Try it!

    16. Have Aruku follow the outside edges of the island as there are gems in the clouds.

    LEVEL 13 - LONELY ICEBURG: (you can play this level after Frozen Vale if you receive the map, however it's best to wait until your tribe is more developed)
    Guide stones:
  • ... + Salamander Dust + Phoenix Oil.
  • Magnesium = Permanganate = Salamander Dust
  • Midnight Salts + ... = New Moon Elixir
  • Ammonium + Alkali = Restoration Liquid
  • Aurum + Quicksilver = Amalgam
  • Vitriol + Charcoal = Midnight Salts

    Objectives and Strategies:
    1. Attack will start immediately upon arrival. You will not be able to build anything at this time.
    2. Locate Alchemists' Village (it's on the northeast corner, explore before arriving there)

    3. Explore with your troops a noticeable distance in front of Aruku and Guro for protection. There will be some battles.
    4. After attack, immediately go east. You will need to collect 4 ice shards. To acquire the proper ingredients that you'll need in this level, you'll have to put the 4 ice Shards on the correct ice formations. See the following summary and screen shot for general locations of shards as they seem to be slightly random

    General locations of 8 ingredients:
  • Quicksilver - most northern portion of island
  • Vitriol - in chest on the northeast coast
  • Ammonium - in chest on central north portion of island
  • Permanganate - in chest on the northwest coast
  • Aurum - on central west coast
  • Magnesium - on southwest coast
  • Charcoal - on southwest coast
  • Alkali - on south coast
    Recipes and Steps (don't worry if you make a mistake the ingredient/s that is out of order will be on the ground next to the laboratory):
    1. Ammonium + Alkali = Restoration Liquid
    2. Magnesium + Permanganate = Salamander Dust
    3. Aurum + Quicksilver = Amalgam
    4. Vitriol + Charcoal = Midnight Salts
    5. Amalgam + Salamander Dust = Phoenix Oil
    6. Midnight Salts + Restoration Liquid = New Moon Elixir
    7. Phoenix Oil + New Moon Elixir = Twilight Mixture
    5. You will have to turn around and go slightly northwest. Use your explorer flag to explore the island, remembering the explorers open up more of the black veil. There is only one path at this time.
    6. Use the Alchemist Laboratory to prepare the Twilight Mixture. All the necessary ingredients are on this island, as well as some directions. Good luck, and return with the Mixture. (To mix components use two of them in the Laboratory, one after another, and if the reagents are correct, you will get new matter.)
    7. Go as far north as you can from the Alchemist's Village. The alchemist will give you the objective. Put the correct ice shard on the correct ice formation.
    8. Collect the ingredients listed above.
    9. Return to the Alchemist's Laboratory and become and alchemist yourself using the recipes above in the order they are listed. Give the Twilight Mixture to the Wiseman. Frost Tower now available along with other upgrades.
    10. Go to the central northern peninsula to activate the Sphere of Clarity (if you collected it on Witch Island) to expose jewels on a distant isle.

    11. Have Aruku and Guro explore the island getting as close to the water as possible as there are jewels on land/islands off the iceberg.
    12. Return to Lonely Iceburg after your scouts can swim from Shark Archipelago.


    LEVEL 14 - SCHORCHED ISLAND:
    Objectives and Strategies:
    1. The usual...Build your village using one of every building with upgrades. Putting emphasis on building Fire Towers in front of the Fiery Liars on the east and west of your island. You're in for a few battles. I prefer to build additional towers and shamans tents.

    2. Build 1 Fire Tower, 1 Frost Tower and 1 Thunder tower collect the Crown of Defender south of your village. The chest will open once you have built 1 Fire Tower, 1 Frost Tower and 1 Thunder Tower. The construction of your towers will now be built much faster.
    3. Find and defeat the Wolf Tribe
    4. There are 3 paths going into the water on the north of your camp. The northwest path leads to an idol and a hidden path. TAKE THIS PATH, DON'T GO TO THE PATH ON THE EAST FIRST.

    5. Prepare your troop to be at the west side of the passage. See screenshot.

    6. Take the hidden pathway with your scouts. Once you arrive at the end of the pathway, the Eskimo Tribe Leader will ask you to defeat the dragons. You will receive an ice crystal to give to the idol when dragons are defeated. Charge the idol.

    7. Build a Frost Tower at the entrance of the middle path to eliminate the fire so your troops can enter the passage. This seems to be the best option to battle to Wolf Tribe, as they are slightly weaker here. The Far East entrance has 2 fire towers and is harder to pass through.
    8. Battle with the Wolf Tribe using the Snow Tempest power up.
    9. Demolish the Wolf Tribe's Fire Towers on the east side of the island to receive a fire rune. Place the rune at the gate entrance.

    10. Explore the rest of the island with your troops using Frost Towers to gain entrance into passages that are blocked by fire. Recharge your idol to use on more battles. You should receive a shaman mask and the Totem of Wolf when you have defeated the Wolf Tribe.
    11. Open 2 chests of gems and collect single gems. On the north island.
    12. RETURN AFTER YOUR SCOUTS CAN SWIM TO OBTAIN A GEM IN THE VOLCANO NORTHEAST PORTIONOF ISLAND.

    LEVEL 15 - VOLCANO ISLAND:
    Guide Stones: (These are hints for the light puzzles)
  • One is good, two are better.
  • United we stand, united we fall.
  • One is essential, tow are too much

    Objectives and Strategies:
    1. Find the Totem of Snake
    2. Build your camp with additional shamans and upgrades quickly as you'll be attacked from the northeast and south. Emphasize building shaman tents and witch doctor shacks. I had 10 shaman tents and 3 witch doctor shacks.
    3. DO NOT EXPLORE THE PYRAMID ON THE EAST WITH THE RED SPARKLES AROUND THE FOG OF WAR UNTIL LATER; IT INITIATES A KING SHADE FIGHT.
    4. Battle the enchanted skeletons to the south and east and demolish their pyramids.
    5. Collect 3 rusty swords from the defeated skeletons for the Master of Battle. Collect 24 obsidian pieces for 3 idols. Collect scroll pieces for hermit. Collect 6 lava stones from the lava pools (lava pools will be yellow on your map) for another hermit.
    6. Explore the far southeast with your troops and solve the light puzzle. (solution on screenshot).

    7. Now go to the southwest and battle with more skeletons and monsters.
    8. Solve another light puzzle to receive another scroll fragment. See solution on screenshot

    9. Keep trekking south and you'll battle more skeletons. Solve another light puzzle. See solution on screenshot.

    10. Give the Hermit the scroll pieces to receive frost research. Upgrade the hall of mystery (building hermit was in). The shamans will carry frost technology to rid of fire blocks along with being more lethal. Upgrade the hall of mystery

    11. Give the idols there obsidian pieces.
    12. Give the Master of Battle (the training grounds building) the rusty swords and upgrade your training grounds.

    13. Have the shamans demolish the fire wall to battle more skeletons.

    14. Give obsidian pieces to the idol and power up the idols.
    15. Build Fire Towers relatively close to the sparkling pyramid.
    16. Give your 6 lava pieces to the hermit and activate the crystal sphere

    17. Travel the sparkling pyramid on the east side and fight King Shade
    18. WOW; mission accomplished!
